Reporting & Safety

Effective October 1, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · Version 1.0

Use a report when a public Personal Card or Provider Card breaks the Community Guidelines or the Terms of Service. A report goes to Zellwork. It does not send a message to the card owner, and it does not by itself take the card down.

What you can report

Report a card, a link on a card, or an image on a card. The form asks for the card username, the link, a reason, and optional details. The reasons in the product are:

  • Spam or scam, including misleading links and cards that exist only to push junk.
  • Harassment or abuse, including threats and cards built to target a person.
  • Impersonation, including a username, name, or photo that pretends to be someone else.
  • Illegal or unsafe content, including sexual content involving a minor.
  • Other, when the problem is real but does not fit the labels above. Say what it is in the details.

You can also use the details field for a privacy problem on a card, such as a home address or a private number that the person did not publish, or for a copyright problem if you are the rights holder. Copyright notices that need the formal elements on the Copyright page should also be emailed to the legal address. A short report is still useful so the card can be found quickly.

How to submit a report

On a public card, use Report. In the app, that opens a sheet for that card. On the website, Report opens this page. You can also start from this page if you already know the username and the link.

The form does not ask for your name or email. Do not put your own private information in the details unless you want Zellwork to have it. If you need a reply, email support and include the same username and link. The form itself does not create a ticket you can log back into.

There is a limit on how many reports one network can send in a short period. If you hit that limit, wait and try again, or email support. The limit exists so the queue cannot be flooded.

Submit a report

What helps a report

  • The username, without stories about other cards mixed in.
  • The exact public link, either zellwork.app/username or zellwork.app/provider/username.
  • Which part is the problem: the name, a photo, a link, a price, a location.
  • A short description of what is wrong. A sentence is enough. Do not upload someone else’s intimate images in order to prove a point.

If you are reporting impersonation, say who is being copied, in a way Zellwork can check without you handing over identity documents in the first message. If you are the person being copied, email support from an address that shows that connection if you have one.

Choosing a reason

Spam or scam

Use this when the card exists to mislead, when the links do not match the titles, or when the page is pushing a scheme rather than a real person or a real service. A provider you simply do not want to hire is not spam.

Harassment or abuse

Use this when the card threatens someone, targets them, or exists to humiliate them. A blunt description of the card owner’s own work is not harassment of a viewer.

Impersonation

Use this when the name, username, or photo presents the card as a specific person or business it is not. Include who is being copied if you can do that without posting their private contact details in the form.

Illegal or unsafe

Use this for illegal offers and for sexual content involving a minor. If a minor is in danger right now, contact emergency services before you file the report.

Privacy and copyright

The form has no separate privacy or copyright label. Use Other, and say which it is. If you need the content taken down as the rights holder, also email the legal address with the items listed on the Copyright page. A privacy request about your own account can be an edit or a deletion, which do not require a report.

What happens after you submit

The report is stored for review. Zellwork staff can mark it reviewed or resolved. You will not get an automatic status email from the form, because the form does not collect an email address.

Zellwork does not promise that every report produces a particular result, and it does not promise a clock time. Reports about sexual exploitation of minors and reports about a card that is actively stealing passwords are handled first. Other reports are handled as they can be.

Possible outcomes include leaving the card up, asking nothing of you, removing a link or image, hiding the Personal Card, hiding the Provider Card, removing a card from Home, or disabling the account. Hiding stops the public link for that card. Disabling an account stops both public links. The account data remains until it is deleted.

Zellwork may also do nothing visible if the card does not break the rules. A competing provider, a harsh description of someone’s own work, or a price you dislike is not by itself a reason to hide a card.

Enforcement is not a verification

A card that stays up has not been certified. Zellwork does not review every card before it is public, and it does not badge providers as verified. Leaving a card online means it has not been hidden. It does not mean the services are good, licensed, or safe to buy.

Emergencies and legal requests

If someone is in danger now, contact local emergency services. Do not wait for a report to be read.

Law-enforcement and legal process requests should go to legal@zellwork.com. Include the authority you are acting under and the specific card or account. Zellwork does not accept legal process through the public report form.

Privacy requests about your own account go to privacy@zellwork.com, or you can delete the account in the app. The Account Deletion page explains what that does.

Abuse of reporting

Do not file a report to harass a person, to suppress a competitor, or to make Zellwork carry a message. Repeated bad-faith reports can themselves lead to a disabled account if they come from an account Zellwork can identify. False copyright notices are covered on the Copyright page.

Security reports

If the problem is a weakness in the app or the website, email support instead of describing the steps on a public card. Say what you clicked and what you expected. Do not include another person’s data to demonstrate it, and do not keep using an account that is not yours once you have seen the problem.

A security email is not the same as a card report. The card form is for content on a card. Use both only when a card is also part of the abuse, such as a link that installs unwanted software.
